Women More Loyal To Gaming Consoles Than Men

According to a report by Nielsen, women are playing more games online than that of men. Since, the news is from a reliable source, I don’t think we have any thing much to do except getting surprised.

Only Men in US aged between 12-24 years were able to dominate women in terms of percentage of total minutes pent on Next-generation video game consoles usage, according to stats in December 2008. 25 percent of the total PC gamers were women aged between 25 to 54 years. This is the largest percentage any group playing PC games, including men. Men aged in the same age group accounted to second highest percentage. The third largest is again women, this time aged above 55 years. They contributed to 17 percent of the total PC gamers.

However, men remain the most-active gamers than women. Nielsen says women are catching up, and I say they have to catch up a lot to play like us.
